The course is run in a friendly, relaxed way where the emphasis is on learning whilst enjoying the course. There is an element of theory to First Aid but we strive to make sure everyone has as much practical experience as possible. The main difference for leaders is you may find yourself some distance from emergency care when an accident occurs. Therefore, your ability to monitor the casualty, keep the casualty stable and protect the casualty from the elements are key factors in your management of the incident.
